Action list from JF Installation meeting - 30 january 2008 ---------------------------------------------------------- A-frame : All the reinforcement as proposed by Dimi in his calculation is under integration by Wim Lifting points, holding points and modification of the feet is also integrated in the design.(Wim) Wim will produce the production drawing for the cutting (Side A and Side C), for reinforcement by the end of this week. One milling machine has been transported to b180 and Christian, Armen, Vito will prepare the work of clamping to the machine. They will be ready to start machining end of this week. Materials will be order as soon as the production drawings are finished. Dimi will produce the calculation note for SC. Survey of the A-frame shows that the A-frame is out of geometry at the level of the feet. This data justify the machining of the feet to guaranty the introduction of the A-frame on the BT rails. HF truck : Check the possibility to installed the JFC1 with the compressed truck. (Petr) The JFC1 can be installed with the compress truck if the OPAL beams are replace with shorter ones. ( Find other beams : Albert) Check the access of the truck with the surface crane (Pietr) The access is guarantied in any situation Check the possibility to store the HF truck on USA side during the Big Wheels movement (Petr) There is not enough space to do this operation. The truck need to be move upstairs during the movement of the wheels. Bridge JFC1 : The installation of JFC1 requires a positioning at a level of few millimetres in X and Z direction. Such precision can not be reached with the air pad system, this is why a additional mechanism at the level of the rails of the truck shall be studied. (Jan) The compressed truck shall be used with the rail paralleled to beam pipe. the replacement of OPAL beam shall be studied with the mechanism of adjustment (Jan) The manipulation with the crane of the JFC1 requires the installation of lifting lugs. (heavy pieces, time consuming in a hot area). A quick connection would be well come. (Albert) In function of the what Albert will find, integration of the system and possible machining will be define in the design office (to be defined) Albert came back with two solution. They will be integrated in the model to check the feasibility. (Petr) A prototype will be developed for validation. Interfaces with the A-frame and Monobloc shall be studied taking into account the positioning the JFC1. (to be defined) JFC2, JFC3, octogonal pieces - Check the access with the hook (Petr) The octagonal pieces close to the ECT on side C is not accessible with the 140T hook. A solution shall be studied (Albert with Petr) - Review the interfaces with the JFC1 and design some guiding system to ease the installation. Check also if quick connections with the crane can be used. (Petr) - Fill the plane in between the shielding element. (to be defined)
